Description:
The test bench consists of a testing facility, pumping facility, electronic unit connected to a computer, air compressor, and pneumatic actuator control pedals, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic hoses to connect units into a system.
The test bench is a base with rotating frame that has 5 fixed angle positions. This allows hydraulic dampers to be tested at different inclination angles of a longitudinal axis. The actuating mechanism of the hydraulic drive of the test bench is firmly attached to the frame. A hydraulic damper that undergoes testing is automatically fixed to the supporting foot of the test bench with a pneumatic drive.
Electric and hydraulic drive of the test bench is controlled by the computer through the electronics unit. The drive is
The electronics unit is the main control assembly of the test bench designed to connect the electric and hydraulic drive with the computer. The unit collects and processes test data. A special programme consolidates the data obtained. Then the processed test data is displayed in graphic and text modes. Three types of charts are displayed:
motion-time relation;speed-time relation;power-time relation.
All three groups mentioned above contain 10 charts each, depending on the number of tests completed for different amplitudes of a controlling signal.
Programmes allow compiling different protocols into a single base so that necessary data can be retrieved from this base.
The electronics unit makes it possible to control the hydraulic drive of the test bench both through the computer and manually requiring no switching and adjustment of equipment.
